This same trail I have walked so many times before goes about 8 miles thru the woods. Yesterday, when I took the boys out, I followed a deer path and discovered this beautiful pond. I had no idea all these years it was even there. I was delighted. I can't wait to go back.

I did a series of mugs with moose, horses and bears. I LOVE moose.
They have relief, dimensional carvings.
This shows both sides.

Looking For Fall

The Boys and I went walking out at the lake looking for signs of fall. I was hoping to get off some great shots, and feel the crunch of leaves under my feet. So far, the nights have been to warm for color to start. But we did walk thru a field with hundreds of yellow butterflies. I managed to get off a quick shot before the boys chased them all away. It was still a great time.
