For Glory ~a small show for you

I walked thru my house and just took random pictures of my art projects in all stages and all different mediums. We have a collection, of painting, sculpture, pottery , watercolor, acrylic, Raku, wood carving and burnings.I love it all. I love to make it then i am lost after that. I just make it...and it just sits around everywhere. But Glory I wanted you to see what different mediums i work in and give you a taste of my style. Enjoy. Not sure how long i'll leave these up.

For Glory

The clay used is an oil based clay that never dries out. I will hopefully finish this piece someday. The process is to make a "mother mold", pour a wax sculpture then off to the bronze foundry it goes. If only i had my own bronze foundry. That is my dream come true.

Just looking at my paint palette makes me feel better.
This is who i really am

These are fresh off the wheel today. My before pictures.
Such a creative fun day. I've been working so much, I forgot this is where i really belong...sitting at my wheel. It's where I feel my "Be Still & Know". Time to change things around. Make more pottery and show up for my job less. Whoever thought up the deal of wasting our lives working for green pieces of dirty paper anyway?
I have sOo many ideas for projects.

My other child graduated in May from college. Sitting outside the auditorium there was this great big guy just wandering around with this baby doll. Completely entertaining!

I took this photo in January, on my way home from visiting my daughter at college. So many things have happened since then and they are all good. Time continues to slip on by and that just plain scares me.

My Beautiful Son

I am blessed with the most amazing son in the world. I went to a Revival Meeting with him Friday night in the inner city. He is a leader for a youth group. I'm so glad i had my camera to capture this moment in time. He gave part of his testimony that night. In the deepest part of my heart and soul, I was moved to tears of joy and gratitude. I was watching God at work right in front of me.
I don't know how He did it. Gave up His one and only Son for us. He loves us that much.
My son gave me the best Mother's Day present i've had yet. He took me riding on his motorcycle for hours, we stopped at the lake and talked about life and God. Thank you God for this most amazing young man.
